Canoe Hire

Prefer to go canoeing without a guide? Create your own adventure with a choice of single, double or triple canoes. Each person is provided with a lifejacket, paddle and map of the river. This map will have detailed sections on where to paddle, what to see on the river, where to swim, picnic spots and the various flora and fauna to watch out for. Should you decide to paddle to Bellingen, Raleigh Winery, Mylestom or Urunga, transport is provided at no additional cost.

Our canoes/kayaks are well maintained and fantastic for beginners and children. All are flat-bottomed, making it nearly impossible to tip into the water. They also have footrests and backrests for your comfort.

1 hour $11 per adult $5.50 per child
2 hours $22 per adult $11 per child
Half Day (up to 4 hrs) $33 per adult $16.50 per child
Full Day (up to 8 hrs) $55 per adult $27.50 per child

For a Half Day or Full Day Hire, we suggest to take a picnic, bathers and other provisions so that the day can be enjoyed, stopping along the banks.
